Live a Simple Life

18 Sep

Try to lead a simple life today… and everyday.

As Mr. Eknath Easwaran says…

To lead a simple life in reasonable comfort, with a minimum of possessions, ranks high among the arts of living.  It leaves us the time, resources and freedom of mind we need for the things that give life value:  Loving, Helping, Serving and Giving.

Last weekend, we went camping… this time, the campsite was a little primitive. I was a little concerned but it turned out to be okay.
It was fun – even without heating (It was freezing!) and bugs, spiders, and bees around us all the time. We got to spend quality time with our friends and our families. It’s all good. We went hiking and biking (that rhymes). The campfire was good. The kids had fun playing with their friends all day and night.
It’s a good way to enjoy nature – a quick reality check that makes me appreciate the comforts that we have on a daily basis.

I wish I liked to go camping I cant stand it!! Birds and Bees and Flowers and trees (like the song says). My ex-boyfriend loved it and one of the reasons we broke up is because we didnt like the same thing..LOL Im glad you had a good time.
